Helping Hands of St. Marguerite was founded by Covenant Health Systems, a Catholic, health care system which sponsors hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living residences and other elder and community based services throughout New England. Covenant established Helping Hands in the tradition of their founding organization, The Grey Nuns, and St. Marguerite D’Youville, who tended to those in need with dignity and respect.

Helping Hands President & CEO Daniel H. Dougherty has over twenty years of healthcare experience, having been a Community Health Registered Nurse and Clinical Manger.
