How do I know if I need home care services?
Helping Hands of St. Marguerite, Inc. is designed to provide the home care and services that would assist an individual to remain living independently in their own home or continue residing at an assisted living residence.

How do I know that Helping Hands is the appropriate company to meet my needs?
Our credentials are excellent, and our sponsored membership of Covenant Health Systems comes along with a reputation and track record of providing quality, dependable care. In addition, a nurse will assess each situation prior to offering an appropriate service plan.

How is it decided how much service I may need or if more care is needed?
A nurse will assess each situation prior to offering an appropriate service plan, which will be presented to and discussed with each individual and, if appropriate, their family.

If my condition changes, what will the response of Helping Hands’ be?
Service plans are reviewed to reflect changing conditions and needs. The well-being of each client is our primary focus. If changes to the service plan are necessary, home adaptations will be available to enable the individual to be as independent and mobile as possible. The staff of Helping Hands will also assist families in contracting for additional services as requested, and appropriate recommendations will be made as necessary.

What are your Services and Fees?
A variety of services are being implemented to meet the individual’s need and to be of assistance to their family. These include: personal care services, housekeeping, shopping, companion service including accompanying an individual to medical or social appointments, and assistance with durable medical equipment from an established, qualified vendor. Home adaptations will be available, if changes are necessary to enable the individual to be as independent and mobile as possible. The staff of Helping Hands will assist families in contracting for additional services as requested.

Helping Hands has a published list of Fees for various services. Individuals/ families will contract for services as needed and desired. Helping hands will document services delivered and days/ times of services. On a monthly basis, Helping Hands will bill the individual or family for services contracted. Fees are due within 30 days.
